- **Contact information for designated contacts:** if you choose to add a trusted contact to your account, we collect that person's name, mobile phone number, and (optionally) email address so that we can deliver SMS notifications to them on your behalf, with their consent.
- **Application usage information:** event scheduling data you create within the application (such as event names, start and end times, and notification preferences). This data is associated with your account and stored to provide the application's core functionality.
- **Device information:** when you use our applications, we automatically collect technical information about the device you are using, such as device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier, to ensure proper functionality and diagnose errors.
- **Communications:** if you contact us by email, we retain your communication to respond to your inquiries.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, maintain, and improve our mobile applications and website.
- Create and authenticate user accounts.
- Send notifications, including SMS messages, to you and (with their explicit consent) to your designated trusted contacts based on event timing you configure.

- Comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Messaging and Opt-In Consent

Our applications include SMS notification features. The following terms govern SMS messaging:

- **Consent:** by adding a trusted contact to your account, you confirm that you have permission from that individual to share their phone number with us. The first SMS message we send to a designated trusted contact is a consent-confirmation message asking them to reply YES to receive future notifications, or STOP to opt out.
- **Opt-out:** anyone receiving SMS messages from us may reply STOP at any time. We will immediately and permanently cease sending SMS messages to that number. Replying HELP will return a brief description of the service and our contact email.
- **Message frequency:** message frequency varies based on user configuration of events within the application. We do not send recurring promotional or marketing messaging.
- **Charges:** standard message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan. SBT Photography, LLC does not charge for SMS messages, but the recipient's mobile carrier may.
- **Mobile information sharing:** mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the notifications you have configured.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

- **Service providers:** we use third-party service providers to deliver core functionality. These include cloud hosting services (such as Google Firebase) and SMS messaging providers (such as Twilio). These providers may have access to your information solely to perform services on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your information.
- **Legal compliance:** we may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.
- **Business transfers:** if SBT Photography, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified before any such transfer occurs and your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

Trusted contact phone numbers that have opted out of SMS messages are retained in a suppression list to prevent further messaging.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
